Successful Weight Loss - Understand Ingested Toxins

In order to achieve successful weight loss it is very important to understand the idea of ingested toxins. There are many foods which most of us eat which are no way compatible with losing weight.
We give them names such as; naughty food, yummy food comfort food, junk food, unhealthy food. The problem lies in the language we use. Even though we may refer to a food as junk food, it still implies a kind of guilty pleasure or rebellion in eating it.

The fact is that most of the foods with these labels shouldn't be considered foods at all. Sure they fill us up, sometimes they are inexpensive and they may even have some redeeming features including some nutritional value, even if they are loaded with fat sugar salt or chemicals.
This may seem a bit hard core but I strongly believe that if we want to lose weight and keep it off then it's important to recognise these foods for what they are and label them as such.
For starters it's important to drop the word food from their descriptions. As long as we use the term food it implies that it is OK for us to eat.

But given the problems of obesity, cardiovascular disease, diabetes just to name a few now it's time to stop fooling ourselves.
These so called foods are making us ill, they are like thieves robbing us of our quality of life and killing us before our time.

They cause or contribute to all manner of health problems such as arthritis, sinusitis, bronchitis, asthma and all kinds of liver, cellular and digestive disorders.

These foods are making our children fat and sick, yet we continue to feed them in some mistaken notion that we are rewarding them. It's crazy if you stop and think about it.
So instead of using these cute food labels for what is essentially a slow acting poison I prefer to call them IT's or Ingested Toxins.

Now the next time you are tempted by some lump of deep fried or sugary concoction, instead of thing I'll just have a bit of that naughty food or junk food, say to yourself I'll just have some ingested toxins. Now see how you feel about it.

Do you still want it. Do you still crave a big serving of ingested toxins. I'm guessing not. By changing the language you use you will change the mental images you create. No where in your subconscious mind is there a place that craves ingested toxins. Give it a try for a month and see the results for yourself.
